Isabelle Lily Bramble

Just wanted to update you all on the status of our new addition to the Bramble Family. Isabelle was born last Tuesday, April 29th at 11:51 am. She weighed 6 lbs 3 oz and was 18 inches long (not very big but 3x the size of Madie and not much more than expected given my size). Everything is going well with her and my wife (this was another C-Section). If you ask us, we think that she is pretty much the cutest thing in the entire world, besides Madie who loves being a big sister. I am now in big trouble - outnumbered 3:1 which is not very good odds.

I am just glad that she got here safely and on time. We were pretty sure that she was going to be coming around 28-30 weeks when we were having some problems but everything turned out well. Now I need to take out more school loans to pay off this child. Through the pregnancy, we had 8 ulltrasounds, 16 non-stress tests and 15+ doctor visits. Basically, if I wasn't at the hospital for a rotation, I was at the hospital for the baby. Oh well, she is worth it.
